Flavioscope

Wow, my Miatascope is a proud father! Flavio Vianna of Brazil built an 11" scope from my plans, with a few improvements of his own. Note all the holes drilled in it to save weight, and the high-quality spider. The workmanship is beautiful.

Flavio discovered a flaw in my plans: I forgot to write anything about balancing the telescope. This needs to be done before installing the rocker bearings and will affect the design of the rocker box.

Flavio's solution was to add spring counterweights
