As the week of Fantasy Fest proceeds, street costumes and costume contests become more and more common, culminating in the street promenade on Friday night, and the Grand Parade on Saturday night.

gold mask w/blue feathers Although lots of people don't dress up for the festival, you have a lot more fun if you do, or at least wear a mask. Mask makers work overtime, providing masks of all types. Street vendors sell masks on the street, and well-known mask makers set up shop, such as Mike Stark who sold masks at Fast-Buck Freddies. This is the mask that Carole bought from him.
